This course has been designed for those with macOS knowledge, however would like to broaden their skills in further depth in relation to MacOS support.
The training will consist of lectures, demonstrations and group discussions about the operating systems.

This course will teach you the following:

1. How to use macOS tools as well as diagnosis related issues.
2. Obtaining further understanding of MacOS features and functionalities.

Installation and Configuration:

Update, upgrade and reinstall the latest macOS Operating systems. Set up and configure macOS on an individual Mac with an introduction to the command-line interface and macOS Recovery.

User Accounts:

Managing user accounts, home folders, macOS security and password changes.

File Systems and Storage:

Managing file systems, storage, encryption, permissions and file sharing.

Data Management:

Exploring the use of hidden items, shortcuts, file archives, metadata and Spotlight as well as managing system resources and Time Machine.

Applications (Apps) and Processes:

Install, manage, and troubleshoot complications.

Network Configuration:

Manage basic and advanced network settings.

Network Services:

Explore and maintain network services, host sharing and personal firewalls.

System Management:

Configure and manage printers and scanners, troubleshoot peripherals, start up, and other system issues.
