Privacy Policy
How Minko’s Macs uses your information
Minko’s Macs Limited uses personal information to answer enquiries, fulfil purchases and repairs, manage memberships, process payments and protect customers against fraud. Visiting this website does not by itself give consent to marketing or advertising tracking.
Orders, enquiries and account information
We receive information you provide, such as your name, contact details, delivery address, order details and device information. We use it to perform our agreement with you, take steps you request before an agreement, comply with legal obligations and, where appropriate, pursue legitimate interests such as security, fraud prevention and resolving enquiries.
Payments and service providers
We share information necessary to provide the service with payment providers, delivery companies and providers supporting our website and business systems. Stripe processes payments and membership billing; Klarna or your selected bank-payment provider may process information when you choose those methods. These providers may also process information for fraud prevention and their own legal obligations. See Stripe’s privacy information and the notices shown by your selected payment provider.
We do not sell or rent your personal information. Sharing information needed to take payment, deliver an order or comply with the law is different from selling it. We do not disclose your purchases to other customers. We retain necessary records for fulfilment, accounting, legal obligations and resolving claims, and restrict access according to the purpose.
Advertising measurement and cookies
Our website may use Meta advertising technology to measure visits and advertising performance. Non-essential advertising cookies and similar tracking require your consent. Any future purchase-measurement connection will be subject to an appropriate consent mechanism before activation. Where you consent to purchase measurement, relevant order-event information, such as event time, value, currency and identifiers used to match an event, may be shared with Meta to measure advertising. We will not use this updated notice as permission to share historical purchase data collected under an earlier promise not to share it.
Enquiry text, device-fault descriptions and payment-card details must not be included in advertising event data. You can contact us to ask about or withdraw advertising consent. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing. Meta explains its processing in its Privacy Policy. Essential technology needed for the basket, checkout and security is distinct from advertising tracking.
Marketing choices
Marketing is separate from service messages about an order, repair or membership. We send electronic marketing only where permitted by applicable law, with an option to opt out. You can unsubscribe or contact us to change your choices.
Your rights and contact
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access to, correction or deletion of your information, restriction of processing, portability, or object to processing. You can withdraw consent where we rely on it. Some records must be kept to meet legal obligations. Contact us through Contact Us, call 020 8127 3730, or write to Minko’s Macs, 5 Ferdinand Street, London NW1 8ES. Current contact details for Camden, Lewisham, Shoreditch and Wimbledon are on our contact page.
If you remain concerned about how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. We will update this notice when our practices change and provide additional information where required.
