How the service works

4. Remove the existing memory where required using the correct controlled procedure

5. Fit the tested compatible RAM, reassemble and retest memory recognition, system stability and key functions

Turnaround: Normal turnaround is 5–7 working days after check-in. Parts availability, additional faults or customer approval can extend this; we will contact you before carrying out extra paid work.

One-year warranty

The fitted RAM component, together with its related workmanship, carries a one-year warranty. Accidental or impact damage, consumable wear and unrelated faults are excluded. If inspection finds liquid damage, repair work to an existing liquid-affected component has no warranty because corrosion can continue; any new replacement part we fit still carries its one-year warranty. Statutory rights remain unaffected.

Frequently asked questions

Will this erase my data?

A normal RAM upgrade does not ordinarily erase data, but you should keep a current backup before any repair.

Will more RAM fix a slow or unresponsive device?

Only when insufficient or faulty RAM is contributing to the problem. Storage, operating-system, processor, thermal and other hardware faults can produce similar symptoms, so testing comes first.

Can I buy the RAM without fitting?

No. This is a complete installed upgrade with parts, labour and testing.
