The £80 diagnostic charge is deducted from the overall repair cost if you approve the repair under the current published policy. This is a drop-off appointment; a technician will contact you with the findings and next steps.

This is a general technical diagnostic report. If an insurer has requested a particular written format or evidence, use the separate insurance-report service and confirm the insurer’s requirements before booking.

Turnaround: Straightforward service work is normally completed within 24–48 working hours after check-in or the booked appointment. Data-recovery, parts, access or additional faults can extend this; we will explain the next step.

Service assurance

We stand behind the specific work completed and will review a recurrence connected with that work. New hardware faults, third-party changes, later software updates, malware reinfection, forgotten credentials and unrelated problems are not treated as the same fault. Any replacement part fitted as part of an agreed repair carries a one-year warranty with the liquid-damage exclusions stated above. Statutory rights remain unaffected.

No. It identifies the best evidence-based next step; hidden or intermittent faults may require further testing.

Are additional repairs included?
Only if the listing explicitly says so. We obtain approval before additional paid work.

Can I use a report for insurance?
