How the repair works

1. We check the LCD picture, touch layer and frame to confirm that digitizer-only repair is appropriate.
2. The device condition and key functions are recorded.
3. Loose glass is contained and the perimeter adhesive is separated using controlled heat.
4. The LCD is temporarily lifted and disconnected to reach the digitizer connectors.
5. The frame is cleaned, the replacement is dry-tested, and the full touch area is checked.
6. Fresh adhesive is applied, the display is aligned and even pressure is used while the bond sets, followed by final tests.

Normal turnaround: 5–7 working days after check-in. A bent frame, a damaged LCD or parts availability may require a revised quote; we will obtain approval first.

One-year warranty

The fitted replacement part and its related workmanship carry a one-year warranty. Accidental or impact damage, later liquid exposure, continuing corrosion and unrelated faults are excluded. If we repair an existing liquid-damaged component rather than replace it, that repair to the existing component has no warranty; any new replacement part that we fit still carries its one-year warranty. Statutory rights remain unaffected.

Frequently asked questions

Does this include the LCD?
No. This listing is for the front glass and touch digitizer when the LCD image remains clear. A damaged LCD needs a different fitted repair.

How do I identify my iPad?
Check the small A-number on the rear casing or in Settings. Valid iPad 10 numbers are A2696, A2757, A2777 and A3162.

Will Touch ID still work?
The iPad 10 Touch ID sensor is in the top button, not the front glass. We retain and test the existing top button; an existing Touch ID fault is outside this digitizer repair.

Will Apple Pencil work after repair?
We test normal touch response and can test Apple Pencil response when the compatible Pencil is supplied with the iPad.

What if the frame is bent?
A bent frame can stop the glass seating and bonding safely. We will contact you before any extra frame work.

Will my data be erased?
Digitizer replacement does not normally require erasing the iPad, but a current backup is always recommended.
